Perks of being an Aspectian

A FLEXIBLE CULTURE THAT PROMOTES WORK-LIFE BALANCE

We are passionate about creating a fun and healthy work environment. We host regular team building events (not lame ones, promise) like Friday drinks, softball tournaments, lunchme board games, karaoke nights, ice cream runs, team hikes, and park hangouts. We want our workplace to be somewhere you feel comfortable, valued and supported no matter what curveballs life throws at you.

A COMMITMENT TO DEI IN ENGINEERING

At Aspect, we’re trailblazing the representation of minorities in engineering and fostering a workplace that doesn’t just pave the way for diversity, but demands it. We know that truly original work comes from a diverse mix of cultures, backgrounds and ways of thinking. But more than that, we want to make sure that you feel like a welcomed part of the team and have the confidence and support to do your best work, no matter your background or stage of your career. We may design unbreakable buildings, but our approach to diversity shatters ceilings.

GENEROUS COMPENSATION PACKAGE & RRSP MATCHING

Beers on a Friday and pingpong are fun, but that’s not paying the bills. We know that money is an important part of any job, that’s why we offer a highly competitive salary and compensation package including RRSP matching, as well as quarterly and annual bonus opportunities. Not only that, but we scan the market on a regular basis to ensure our compensation packages are always competitive.

COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH & WELLNESS BENEFITS

We want you to feel your best, both online and off. It’s important to us that our Aspectians take care of themselves, so we provide our team members with a generous health benefits package that includes both dental and vision as well as a wellness allowance.

FLEXIBLE HOURS AND FLEXIBLE PAID TIME OFF

We work to live, not the other way around. Our Aspectians are encouraged to take advantage of our flexible working hours and flexible paid time off policy. If you need time off for an appointment or a mental health day, our flex time policy supports our team to manage their schedules without all the red tape.

EDUCATION ALLOWANCE

We are champions of life-long learning which is why we provide an education allowance, support with gaining designations, as well as host regular lunch and learns with internal and external speakers. That’s not it, though — our Aspectians also get a fitness allowance so they can prioritize their health & wellness outside of work.

SUPPORT FOR NEW PARENTS & FAMILIES

Life happens, and we want you to be supported when it does. Our generous parental, family, and protected leave policy provides supplemental benefits and support so that you can take care of your loved ones without worrying about work — we’ve got your back.

MAKE AN IMPACT AND BE A PART OF SOMETHING BIGGER

Play a pivotal role in designing inspiring, and iconic projects that not only make an impact on local communities, but world-wide. You’ll be a part of a light and mighty team where you can truly see the impact of your work and the contribution you make to not only the shape and direction of the company, but to the global landscape.

EXCITING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

We invest in our people, and we want to see them grow and succeed. Mentoring is baked into how we collaborate as a team, and we support advancement at every level of our team’s career. We prefer to promote from within and have intentionally created exciting internal career progression opportunities for all Aspectians who want to grow with us.
