Marketing & Communications Specialist
(Toronto, Vancouver)

About the Role:

ASPECT is in search of a creative storyteller to bring our marketing and communications materials to life. In this role, you will have the opportunity to not only contribute to the growth of our brand through the creation of internal and external communications items, but also bring in business through proposal support and management.

This role requires someone who is an exceptional multi-tasker with impeccable communication skills. We are a growing firm, and we’re looking for someone who is excited by challenges and the opportunity for growth. You can be based in either Toronto or Vancouver – either way, you’ll be working as part of a close-knit national (and international) team.

Here are a few more insights into what you would be doing on a daily basis:

  • Reviewing, organizing and scheduling Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), and Expressions of Interest.
  • Reviewing various bid sites for opportunities and flagging the most suitable opportunities for the entire BD and leadership team.
  • Contributing to the development of the company’s marketing digital asset library, including CVs, project profiles, and boilerplate content.
  • Developing and delivering creative, engaging, and compliant proposals in coordination with the Proposal Lead for each bid.
  • Identifying and flagging structural scopes, fee requirements, and other pertinent information for the Proposal Lead of each bid, coordinating with them to flag the important information that is required.
  • Delivering proposals that adhere to ASPECT guidelines for written and visual communication.
  • Suggesting and developing updates and improvements to the proposal process wherever possible.
  • Contributing to social media and website content as required, including writing copy tailored to different audiences, and brainstorming post ideas with the full MarCom team.
  • Coordinating with the MarCom team to update proposal visuals as needed.
  • Supporting the development of PowerPoint presentations as required, working with senior leadership and proposal leads to assemble presentation decks that show the ASPECT brand well, and outline our unique selling proposition clearly.
  • Contributing to the creation and distribution of internal communication pieces as required.
  • Assisting in the development and execution of internal and external communication plans.
  • Providing marketing and communications support to the full MarCom team as required, including assisting with irregular marketing and communications deliverables that come up from time to time (such as event coordination).


Base Salary:

$63,000 – $68,000


This position is office-based and subject to a Hybrid Work Policy (up to 2 days of remote work per week).

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a similar role within the AEC industry.

Intermediate BIM Technician
(Vancouver, Toronto)

About The Role:

We are looking for an Intermediate BIM Technician to join our passionate, talented team. Our ideal candidate has a precise understanding of structural drawings and is enthusiastic about leading projects, mentoring junior technicians, and working collaboratively as part of a team.


In a typical day as an Intermediate BIM Technician, you will: 

  • Have a deep understanding of architectural and structural drawings
  • Develop structural design drawings and 3D models according to Aspect’s project quality standards
  • Lead and execute BIM projects of all sizes
  • Prepare design submissions and other technical documents
  • Be proficient with Revit model and drawing production)
  • Be proficient in family and parameter management and development
  • Perform detailed drafting under the supervision of the principal-in-charge
  • Be able to work on projects that require creating and solving complex geometry
  • Contribute to the team’s technical knowledge resources as well as mentor junior BIM technicians
  • Collaborate with team members across other offices in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Be involved in ongoing communication and coordination with contractors, other consultants, and suppliers

Base Salary:

$60,000 – $78,000
