After graduation, he travelled to Japan before starting his Master of Applied Science at Queen’s University, with a focus on Bridges. Throughout his post-secondary education he was involved in many extra curricular activities, including student clubs and intramural sports. Following his thesis defense, Dustin joined Cunliffe & Associates Inc. where he participated in the design of various buildings in and around the Ottawa area. He focused on seismic design, modelling and integration of materials, and has been involved in the design of a wide variety of structures, from public artwork to schools to 30 storey condos.
Dustin learned of some of Aspect’s projects and was drawn to the firm by their expertise, as well as company culture. He is excited to further learn and hone his skills in all fields of structural engineering with the Aspect team.
Outside of work, Dustin enjoys listening to music, cooking, spending time with friends and planning his next ski trip.
