Angle of Repose Lake House

Hindon Lake, ON

An elegant prefabricated cabin near Hindon Lake in the Algonquin Highlands of Ontario. The trapezoidal shape is constructed of mass timber as an optimal solution to achieve the project’s architectural and sustainability goals while providing a beautiful interior finish. The cabin achieved high levels of sustainability through the elimination of greenhouse gasses and ultimately achieved Passive House certification. ASPECT was engaged as the structural Engineer of Record.
