BIM Technician | Architectural Technologist
Acrophobic Climber (Boulderer), Board Game Activist, Yogi
Born and raised on the east coast of Canada, Briana graduated from the Architectural Technology program at Holland College. Not long after graduation she was given the opportunity to work in the log home industry on the west coast. During this time, she contributed to a variety of projects, both locally and internationally, while developing a passion for sustainability and working with timber.
Briana moved to Switzerland in 2016, almost entirely for the cheese and chocolate, and continued her career working as a project designer in the field of mass timber and CLT construction. Here she was introduced to the world of BIM and was able to expand her knowledge in the production of fabrication and assembly drawings using Revit and Cadwork.
Eager to contribute to the drafting department at Aspect, Briana has an enthusiasm for sending out a “perfect” set of drawings while continuously learning how she is able to streamline the process.
Outside of work, Briana can typically be found somewhere in the sun, in a spot where two trees are close enough to hang up her hammock.
