Coquitlam, BC
A renovation and modernization to the multipurpose and fitness training areas of an existing aquatic centre, originally constructed in 1993. The primary structural scope involves a new single storey Fitness Room addition. The structural system is steel framing on reinforced concrete foundations. Steel braced bays provide lateral resistance; this system is tied in to the existing building and serve to enhance the seismic capacity of the existing structure.
