Ferdinand graduated from Holy Name University in his home country, the Philippines, and has Civil and Structural background. He acquired his BIM training certification from Bredin Institute in Calgary. Over the years he has played several roles in the design engineering field and has worked around the world, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Xiamen, Los Angeles, Dallas, Cebu, Calgary, and now Toronto. His early experience included hospitality buildings for IHG and Choice Hotels with their respective subsidiary brands like Holiday Inn and Comfort Suites that were built in Texas. In 2012 he moved to Canada and worked on the Phase 7 and 8 expansion of the University of Calgary, composed of two high rise buildings. Prior to joining ASPECT he worked on industrial facilities predominantly in pharmaceutical manufacturing, mostly in the Toronto area.
Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, exploring both the urban and forest settings.
