Graeme Hyslop

Senior BIM Technician
Moment capturer, Formula One fanatic, Cinema aficionado

One thing to know about Graeme: (according to his mom) he’s related to Scottish “royalty”… aka Kirkpatrick Macmillan, the inventor of the treadle bicycle. His lineage may or may not be the source of his love for all things fast, as Graeme is an avid motorcycle enthusiast and a passionate Formula One fan.

This need for speed, has quite literally propelled Graeme around the globe. He grew up small village in the southwest of Scotland. From there, he spent time in Edinburgh, Toronto, Port Coquitlam, and Vancouver, where we selfishly hope he’s put things in park for a while. This unique global experience makes Graeme fit right in here at ASPECT.

Over the course of his 38-year career Graeme has worked on some impressive projects providing drafting and modelling expertise to buildings in the educational, entertainment, and residential sectors. With this experience under his belt, Graeme takes pride in taking on the role of mentor, teaching the next generation of drafters about the value of creating clear, precise drawings that are easy for contractors to follow.

At the end of day, you’ll find Graeme dabbling in some of his favourite pastimes, ranging from amateur photography, to experimenting with synthesizers, or 4×4’ing when there’s a truck available.
