Kent is a BC boy through and through – he grew up in Tsawwasen, went to university in Kelowna, and now calls North Vancouver home. After graduating with a Bachelor of Management, Kent spent a decade in various finance and accounting roles, primarily working in the retail industry. Kent often worked with younger organizations navigating their growth. He prides himself in bringing a sense of calm to otherwise chaotic companies. As an accountant, Kent specializes in creating automations and efficiencies that streamline routine tasks to support analyses and decision-making. He often jokes about creating lazy ways to accomplish tasks, but it’s all about working smarter right?!

Kent joined the ASPECT team for a number of reasons – partly to keep working with past colleges (we love to see it), and partly due to the company’s focus on quality. He enjoys being on a team that collaborates well and is proud of their accomplishments.

When he isn’t crunching numbers, Kent shows his West Coast love and takes full advantage of the natural beauty around him. He spends his weekends camping, hiking, biking, fishing, and hunting. Some of his best memories are from his misadventures – though you won’t catch him on a small tugboat anytime soon… the last one ended up at the bottom of Harrison Lake in BC!
