Kilian Ammann

Timber Technician | dipl. Techniker HF Holzbau
Mountaineer, Rock and Ice Climber, Outdoor Enthusiast

Having grown up helping with his family’s cabinetmaking company, Kilian always knew he would find a career that involved working with wood in some capacity. Initially choosing to pursue carpentry, he decided to practice the traditional timber framing craftsmanship in Williams Lake, BC. During this time, Kilian gained valuable practical knowledge while enjoying the beautiful Canadian landscape.

Fast forward a few years to 2016, Kilian decided to begin his three-year Timber Technician schooling where he learned about building physics and project management. After a brief one-year hiatus in real estate appraising, Kilian quickly confirmed that the construction industry is where he belongs.

After a glowing recommendation from his wife, Briana, Kilian is excited to continue his career journey as he joins the timber team at ASPECT.

When Kilian’s not in the office, you’re most likely to find him on a rock face in the alps. If you don’t see him, look up!
