BIM Technician
Fibre artist, nerd, foodie, cat mom, fire spinner.
Liz attended Rochester Institute of Technology for Computer Engineering before switching to Interior Design. In 2010 she had an opportunity to move to Toronto and work with an Interior Design firm, which then lead to an opportunity at Turner Fleischer Architects in 2013, where she became the BIM Lead. A chance failed installation of AutoCAD lead Liz to work exclusively in Revit, and she has never looked back. With her computer and software background, Liz has managed to continually push the boundaries of what the software can do, working with Dynamo and C# code to automate processes for greater efficiency.
Liz has worked in Interiors, Architecture and is excited to be adding Structural to her experience. She has previously worked in office design, commercial, residential towers, townhouses, mixed-use buildings, restaurants, and universities, though the project closest to her heart is her cottage in Quebec.
Liz’s interests in design are to work towards environmental sustainability and to explore computational design. Outside of work, she can usually be found with a knitting project on the go, enjoying books, cooking and dancing, and performing with the Toronto New Model Circus Army fire spinning conclave.
