Meet Luc, a Franco-German citizen born the youngest of three brothers. Luc has been called a “highly motivated wood construction nerd” renowned for his ambitious drive towards challenging tasks demanding creative thinking and inventive solutions.
Luc’s career journey began with a Bachelor’s in Engineering from Rosenheim Technical University, majoring in Wood Building and Construction. He enriched his studies with two practical semesters at an engineering firm in Switzerland. After graduation, Luc headed to Strasbourg, France, dedicating three impactful years to an engineering company focused on wood construction, acquiring expertise in the residential, commercial and institutional sector.
His academic yearning resurfaced, leading him to Bern University of Applied Sciences for the Master’s program in Wood Technology, specializing in Complex Timber Structures. This broadens his expertise in domains like free-form and shell structures, seismic design, parametric finite-element modeling and calculation, alongside its data management.
Concurrently, he works at ASPECT’s Bern office where he embraces the progression of his career within the highly professional, diversely talented and dynamic team.
Outside of the office, Luc can be found enjoying life with laughter, reading, playing chess and maintaining an active lifestyle snowboarding and skydiving with his friends.
