Structural Designer | B.A.Sc.
Pasta lover, latte addict, occasional runner, videography hobbyist
Starting with an interest in architecture and a desire to understand the technical aspects of buildings, Rose graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in the architectural engineering program at the University of Waterloo. During her degree she completed internships in various building disciplines ranging from structural engineering, architecture, electrical engineering, and construction. Her experiences helped her develop a multi-disciplinary view when problem solving and communicating with team members.
In her internships she worked on the structural design of mass timber, light wood, steel, and catenary projects. Her interest in beautiful, sustainable wood design led her to Aspect, where she looks forward to learning more from the talented Aspect team. Her portfolio includes multi-family residential, cultural, institutional, and large scale industrial buildings.
In her free time, she can be found drinking a latte at a coffee shop, making pasta in the kitchen, running around a local trail, or learning the latest in AI software.
