A new single family residence with attached garage, port cochere, separate workshop, cabin and pavilion. The structure incorporates exposed heavy timber and light wood frame on concrete foundations. The design also incorporates cantilevered steel columns. Some of the western red cedar used was custom cut for the project by Daizen Joinery, to create visually appealing traditional Japanese wood joinery construction.
