Trisha first joined the ASPECT team as a co-op student while completing her Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering, at the University of British Columbia. During her co-op term, she worked on various building typologies and discovered her interest in timber design (so much so, that when she returned to school her friend would always ask for her help on their timber homework). In addition to gaining industry experience through her co-op placements, Trisha loved any chance to be involved on campus as part of the UBC Steel Bridge club and most notably, receiving the Women in Consulting Engineering Vancouver Scholarship.

Trisha is passionate about seeing her designs come to fruition, and in direct words from Trisha… as nerdy as it sounds, [she] loves doing math. Trisha is bringing her love for her work back to ASPECT as she is returning full time now that she has graduated. As excited as she is about the projects she gets to contribute to, she is most looking forward to being back with her colleagues (aww!).

Beyond engineering, Trisha has a strong love/hate relationship with golf (it’s a work in progress…). She also loves watching anime and bingeing reality TV shows! Trisha is fun, smart, and sporty, what can’t she do?! Well, she sometimes gets caught up trying to figure out her lefts and rights (if you know, you know). Some say she should get an “L” and “R” tattooed on her hand so she never forgets – will she do it?! Stay tuned.
