Springdale, Arkansas
This project includes four separate developments as part of a larger complex. ASPECT is engaged for three of these developments, Park Street, Meadow Avenue, and Water Street. The development is a pilot housing project intended to address the rental housing need stemming from rapid population growth. The system developed for these buildings takes advantage of the strategic structural use of mass timber on certain building typologies in order to maximize construction speed and architectural appearance while maintaining affordability.
The four developments create a combined total of 93 multi-family residential units with at market-rate and affordable options. Each of the buildings are three-storey walk ups. Both Park and Meadow are hybrid construction with mass timber floors and wood frame walls. The Water Street building is light wood frame construction throughout.
