YORK UNIVERSITY SUBWAY STATION*

With its distinctive boomerang shape, the York University station serves Toronto’s second-largest university with a vital link to downtown. It features a station box of 160 meters, platform length of 150 meters and depth of 18.5 meters; the station box was efficiently ‘shoe-horned’ into the very tightly constrained site between existing settlement-sensitive buildings.
