Andrew Chad:
Project Engineer while at Fast + Epp Stuctural Engineers

This project consisted of a 57,000 sq. ft. addition to an existing 70,000 sq. ft. academic building located at the university of British Columbia. The renovation scope included a seismic upgrade and change of use while the new construction included a new gymnasium, studio, classroom and amenity areas. Long spanning timber-steel hybrid trusses form the distinctive butterfly roof shapes typical throughout the building.
